About Zenox Academy
We started because the gap between learning and hiring was too wide.
Zenox Academy was founded in Pokhara, Nepal with one belief — that where you live should never limit how far your career can go. We build engineers, not certificate holders.
Whether you join us in person at our Pokhara academy or through our live online cohorts, you get the same rigorous mentorship, the same real projects, and the same direct path to employment.

Our story
Built out of frustration with the status quo.
“We kept seeing talented people in Nepal finish courses, earn certificates, and still not get hired. The problem wasn’t their potential — it was the gap between what they were being taught and what companies actually needed.”
— Zenox Academy Founders
Zenox Academy was born from a simple observation: Nepal has no shortage of smart, driven people who want to build software careers. What it lacked was a school that taught the way real engineering teams actually work.
Most bootcamps and online platforms measure success by enrollment numbers and course completions. We never thought that was the right metric. The only number that matters is how many of our graduates get hired — and how quickly.
So we built something different. We hired mentors who work at product companies, not just educators. We built a curriculum around real projects, not video lectures. And we opened a physical academy in Pokhara so learners in Nepal could access world-class engineering education without leaving home — while building live online cohorts for those who couldn’t make the commute, or who wanted to learn from anywhere.
We started in Pokhara. But our graduates are now working at companies across Nepal, India, and remotely for teams around the world.
Geography is no longer a ceiling.
“We didn’t set out to build another course platform. We set out to build the school we wished had existed when we were learning to code.”
Our mission
Make world-class engineering education accessible to everyone — regardless of where they start.
We believe talent is equally distributed — but opportunity is not. Zenox Academy exists to close that gap. Not by lowering the bar, but by raising the quality of teaching, mentorship, and career support available to people in Nepal and beyond.
Every decision we make — from how we structure cohorts, to who we hire as mentors, to which companies we partner with — is made with one question in mind: does this make our graduates more hireable?
We are not a content company. We are not a certificate factory. We are a school that measures itself by outcomes — and we publish those numbers publicly, because accountability is the foundation of trust.
Whether a student sits in our Pokhara classroom or joins our live cohort from another city or country, they receive the same curriculum, the same mentor access, and the same standard of expectation. The mode of delivery changes. The quality does not.
How we deliver
Two modes, one standard.
Every Zenox cohort is available in person at our Pokhara academy and as a live online experience. The content, mentorship, and project standards are identical across both.

What we stand for
Six values that govern every decision we make.
These aren’t aspirational — they’re operational. The principles behind how cohorts are run, how mentors are hired, and how we measure ourselves.
01
Outcomes over optics
We don’t celebrate enrollment numbers or video completions. We celebrate job offers, salary increases, and career pivots. Every metric we track connects to what happens after a student graduates — not during.
02
Honesty over hype
We publish our placement rates, cohort sizes, and pricing transparently. We don’t promise guaranteed jobs or unrealistic salaries. We promise rigorous training, real mentorship, and honest introductions to companies hiring now.
03
Small by design
We cap cohorts at 38 students — not because we can’t scale, but because we won’t. A student who gets lost in a cohort of 500 isn’t being educated. They’re being processed. We refuse to do that.
04
Practice over theory
Real engineers learn by building, breaking, fixing, and shipping — not by watching lectures. Every week at Zenox is structured around a deliverable. By graduation, students have done the work, not just watched it done.
05
Community as infrastructure
Your cohort doesn’t end at graduation. Our alumni network of 320+ working engineers gives you a peer group that grows with your career — whether you learned in person or online.
06
Nepal-first, world-ready
We are proud to be based in Pokhara. But our curriculum is global, our mentors work at international companies, and our graduates are ready for remote roles, international teams, and global products.
By the numbers
The results we hold ourselves accountable to.
We track every metric that connects to a graduate’s career — and we share them openly. No padding. No spin.

The team
Taught by engineers. Not just educators.
Every mentor at Zenox is an active practitioner — engineers who work at product companies, ship real code, and bring that daily context straight into the classroom and onto the screen. We don’t hire people who left the industry to teach. We hire people who do both.

The difference
What we do differently — and why it matters for your career.
We’re not for everyone. Here’s exactly what sets Zenox apart from other bootcamps and course platforms.
We grade your code, not your quiz scores
Every week, you submit working code to a real repository. Your mentor reviews it the way a senior engineer reviews a pull request — comments, suggestions, and standards that match what you’d face on the job. No multiple-choice exams. No auto-graders.
Your mentor is an active engineer, not a retired one
We only hire instructors currently working in the field. They bring live context — the frameworks their teams adopted last quarter, the hiring signals they’re seeing right now, the patterns replacing what textbooks still teach. Your education stays current because your mentors are.
Small cohorts that create real accountability
38 students maximum per cohort, whether you’re in our Pokhara classroom or joining from another city. Your mentor knows your name, your blockers, your progress. Your peers become your professional network. In a group of 38, no one disappears.
We make introductions, not job-board referrals
When you graduate, we don’t hand you a list of postings. We make warm introductions to engineering leads at companies we have ongoing relationships with — companies who already trust our graduates and have hired from us before.
